Yusra Mohammed Sabha (45 years old)
Before my engagement in the project “Local Resources for rural economic growth in Akkar”, I was a housewife taking care of my family and accomplishing my housework. However, this project has arisen in me a new person, a person with goal, an active woman who wants to strengthen her abilities on one hand and seek economic support on the other.

Mustafa Mohammed Saleh (46 years old)
I am a holder of a bachelor degree in Arabic literature. Yet my passion and love to agriculture have urged me to get engaged in the project, implemented by Safadi Foundation in Akkar, “Support Value Chain development priority interventions pertained to GLOBAL GAP and food agriculture practices for potato and leafy greens”.
In a very short time, this project has contributed, on the one hand in the development and the enhancement of my capabilities in this field through the lectures and seminars that were organized, and on the other in the improvement of my incomes. I hope this project expands, for the benefits that it might bring to farmers.
