The mission of the sector is empowering society with a specific focus on marginalized categories such as women youth and children through programs addressing societal, economical, cultural and environmental dimensions; activating citizenship through strenghtening the sense of belonging and promoting volunteerism; and enhancing partnership and collaboration with civil society organizations through developing and implementing common projects.

I have surpassed my social anxiety after I have joined the Youth Center almost ten years ago. My self-confidence has considerably increased because of the personal and mental development courses that were given and because of the football team we created within the center. It has also offered us, by teaching us some crafts, the opportunity to learn how to work decently in order to ensure a better future.

I am a mother of three kids, and have joined "Tara W Kheit" handcraft atelier almost a year ago. However, my life has changed in a glance; I became more productive and have achieved a notable progress on both personal and professional levels and that by learning industrial embroidery. I invite all women to get out of their shells, to find a job, to work and not to stay limited to housekeeping and child raising for the benefits that work could bring on both financial and moral level.
