The Agronomy Faculty at the Lebanese University, the Safadi Foundation and the Order of veterinarians/Held a conference entitled “The National Campaign for preventing the udder disease”

The conference entitled “The National Campaign for preventing the udder disease,” held at the Rotana Hotel in Hazmieh, was organized by the Lebanese University’s Agronomy Faculty, the Safadi Foundation and the Order of veterinarians. The conference took place with the participation of Dr. Fouad Al-Hajj and a congregation of veterinarians. The expert panel consisted of Youssef Sassine representing the faculty of agronomy of the Lebanese University; Dr. Hussein Al-Samad representing the Safadi Foundation and Dr. Fouad Al Hajj, the president of the order of veterinarians in Lebanon.

In addition, the panel had the participation of Dr. Nabih Ghoch, the responsible of animal welfare and Dr. Mounzer Hazme, a doctor in microbiology at the public health faculty at the Lebanese University and president of the Health Sector.
Recommendations "national campaign to combat diseases Udder"
The conference, "the national campaign to combat diseases Udder" set of recommendations on combating the disease, namely: the organization of treatments-made medicines laboratory tests before prescribing the medicine, especially for the disease MASTITIS-exhaustive description of veterinary doctors of veterinary medicine-not selling drugs directly from the importer to farms - activating cooperation between the Ministries of Health and Agriculture and veterinarians Syndicate in Lebanon.
