What is TARABUT?

Together Advancing Resilience And Building Unity in Tripoli — TARABUT

TARABUT is a two-year initiative designed to unite the people of the Fayhaa Union—Tripoli, Qalamoun, El Mina, and Beddawi—across all sectors and backgrounds. Whether you're part of a grassroots movement, a business, an NGO, or a public or private institution, TARABUT invites you to be part of a collective journey to rebuild trust, foster collaboration, and shape a brighter, more peaceful future for our communities.

At its core, TARABUT is about unity, resilience, and cultural innovation. Through strategic capacity building, inclusive engagement, and community-driven action, the project empowers local actors to lead meaningful change and strengthen social cohesion across the region.

Funded by the European Union and implemented by the Safadi Foundation in partnership with AIDA, TARABUT brings together individuals, institutions, and communities to build a more connected, empowered, and hopeful Fayhaa. By investing in people and partnerships, we aim to realign strategies, restore safe spaces, and create lasting impact through shared purpose and vision.

Year One: Building the Foundation

Stakeholder Mapping & Needs Assessment

We’ll begin by identifying and understanding the needs of local stakeholders across the Fayhaa Union.

Tailored Capacity Building

Based on the assessment, we’ll design and deliver customized training programs to help individuals and organizations grow their skills and access new opportunities.

Community Project Grants

At the end of Year One, 15 participants will be selected to receive funding to launch their own community projects—turning vision into action.

Year Two: Turning Vision into Impact

Project Implementation by Grant Recipients

The selected participants will begin executing their funded projects, creating real change in their communities with ongoing support from the TARABUT team.

Restoring Safe Spaces

In collaboration with the municipalities of the Fayhaa Union, we’ll work to restore and revitalize safe public spaces that foster connection and inclusion.

Empowering Youth & Women

As part of its core mission, TARABUT will continue to uplift youth and women as key drivers of positive change. By supporting their leadership in community-based initiatives, the project promotes social cohesion and sustainable development across the region.

Looking ahead, our 2026 Summer Camp will be a vibrant space where young people can grow, connect, and lead — turning ideas into action and take meaningful steps toward improving their communities.

BTBT Campaign: Bringing Tripoli Bright Together

The BTBT Campaign will officially launch during the Kickoff Meeting, marking the beginning of the Tarabut Project with a celebration of collaboration and hope.

From that moment, BTBT becomes the heartbeat of the journey. It will follow every step of the project, capturing meaningful stories, joyful moments, and voices from the communities of the Fayhaa Union through photos, videos, and testimonials. These stories will be shared across the Safadi Foundation’s and our partners’ social media platforms, allowing the wider community to stay connected and inspired.

At the end of the journey, we’ll come together for the BTBT Exhibition — a vibrant showcase of everything achieved through Tarabut. It will highlight the progress made, the impact created, and the contributions of all stakeholders in one collective celebration.

TARABUT is your invitation to be part of something bigger.

Whether you bring experience, passion, or a fresh idea—this is your chance to grow, connect, and make a difference. Gain new skills, receive support, and bring your vision to life. Together, we can build a brighter, more united Fayhaa.
