“9 years ago, I discovered the Youth Center. Back then, I had no skills in sports whatsoever. So I joined the Center, which provided life-skills trainings. They boosted my desire for self-development. The trainings were accompanied by field trainings, including sports activities, and this is how I discovered my passion for football. With the Center’s help, I started from scratch, and gradually worked on developing my skills, but it paid off. Today I am a licensed player in a licensed team. It was not easy reaching this level, and I am sure the path I will lead will not be easy either, but the Center’s support is a key factor in my journey. We all consider it to be our second home. My advice to every young person is to believe in their abilities and to join the Shababouna family that supports the youth and aims at socially integrating them."
